Due to lack of ice time there is no scheduled practice Nov 16. This gives all families a wonderful opportunity to go to public skating and give their Timbit a chance to show you everything they have learned. The public skating schedule is on the City of Ottawa website under both “public” and “family skating” sessions. Being able to skate with their family is very important in the development of every hockey player. They all deserve the chance to impress their parents and siblings. The most cost effective way to go public skating is to buy a skating card. To state the obvious EVERYONE needs to wear a helmet when skating – no matter how well they think they can skate. It is very common to be knocked down when someone else falls. So let’s keep all the Timbit families safe.
