Individual skills – a checklist for instructors, parents and players

Posted: November 18, 2013 in Uncategorized

The following is a set of individual skills that Timbits will be working on developing  in both IP1 and IP2. This list takes the more general skill areas presented in the previous blog and defines the key skills players will need in later years of hockey. Every single hockey player will find one thing that they will struggle with to develop. The real key to success is to never stop trying to improve those areas we find hard. This doesn’t mean that players should stress over things they can’t get right away – that is why they call it practice.
