Our orange buckets are really improving!! BUT… it is time to get them to spend more time without buckets.

Goals for today:

  1. FUN, UPBEAT AND EXCITING…. and no frustration.  INSTRUCTORS -this means that I expect funny voices and your best personality!

  6. Push the individual soccer ball
  7. Catch the ball in the bucket (like 500 up with wiffle balls)
  8. Push the bucket away then skate to it.
  9. Wrap up Game

Closing – Remind them how far they have come AND THAT IT IS TIME TO TRY WITHOUT BUCKETS

Last week’s practice was good but I am still perplexed by two things:

  1. Some teams have no parent on the bench with water this is ahuge distraction since the players go to the main gate and parents come down to give them water – THIS HAS TO STOP!
  2. Some teams have no parent on ice. This is a lost opportunity to get a parent involved as a coach in the future.
